I was asked by TBD Media Group & Zulu Forest Sciences (now Zulu Ecosystems) to carry out the drone filming for an introductory video explaining Zulu’s role in regenerating large scale ecosystems. Utilising my CAA extended drone permissions which allow me to fly drones to 1,000 feet altitude instead of the normal 400 feet, subject to various additional procedures such as the issuing of a NOTAM several days before flying, I was able to capture the landscape more from a helicopter’s point of view than a drone’s. This enabled the large scale regeneration project to be made clearer in the finished film, which can be seen at the link below:
