Having worked with Celestial for more than 3 years at nearly all their drone show events, it was a pleasure to be asked to film the Samsung Galaxy S24 launch, which celebrated AI capabilities of the new phones, & involved Celestial flying 550 drones in various galaxy & smartphone formations in front of London’s Canary Wharf skyline. I flew a DJI Inspire 3 single operator, filming in 8K ProRes RAW, & the complexities of the airspace at this location meant arriving 24 hours in advance & obtaining unlock codes & personal firmware updates from DJI to allow me to take off. St Mark’s Studios started editing the footage as soon as I landed, ready to be published immediately.
