Finlaggan was the seat of the Lords of the Isles & of Clan Donald, during the 13th to 15th centuries. I highly recommend visiting: you can almost feel the centuries of history in the air, & this historic site is highly evocative. Shot with a Mavic 2 Pro while working on Islay for a client’s new website, a low-level aerial photo over water like this would have been extremely difficult to achieve before the advent of drones.
